Google Webmaster Tools has an area listed in the “Search Appearance” section labled “HTML Improvements“. This tools will show alerts about issues, such as redundant titles or meta description tags. While it may not be a major issue for a relatively small site with a limited number of pages, if you are managing a larger site, like an ecommerce site with a lot of product pages, it could be quite a pain to manage. If you are a WordPress user, there are some tools and plugins that you can use to help automate this process. Yoast SEO is one such plugin that allows you to manage titles and descriptions based on unique identifiers to you provide. Once you have taken the time to clean up any redundant info on your site, Google can give your site some extra love in relation to the organic SERP (Search Engine Results Page)
